New Members
If you are interested in joining our Club, please talk to our New Member Coordinators who are the President and Captain. They will help you book a tee time, check the local rules, enter scores in the computer, clarify anything in the Programme of Events book, and they love to answer questions.
Types of competitions
The Club runs a variety of individual and team events including stroke, stableford, and par. Thursday 18 hole and special event competitions are run with three grades of handicaps.
Competition prizes
The generosity of our many sponsors enables Tamworth Lady Golfers to award prize vouchers which can be redeemed at a variety of supporting local businesses and throughout the Club and Proshop.
Fixtures list & programme
A Programme of Events booklet is available from the Secretary.
The 2024 fixtures can be found alongside the men’s competition on the website calendar. These can sometimes be subject to change so you need to check the fixtures list now and then.
Rules of Golf
Rules books are available upon request from the Secretary. Local Rules are displayed outside the Pro Shop and in the Ladies Lounge. You can improve your knowledge of the Rules via the Royal & Ancient Golf Club website www.randa.org.
Social & Community
Our golfers view golf at our Club as more than just playing the game. We are fortunate to have a great golf course that is suitable for walking if you prefer, that is challenging but suitable for a range of handicaps, where the birds are plentiful, and the hazards not too numerous. Carts can be used and there are many cart paths. We love to play a game enjoying the camaraderie of friends and we can relax with food and drinks from The View restaurant and The Spike Bar at the end of our game. We have special events including Opening Day, fun event days, and End of Season luncheons and other activities during the season. We also provide support for local charities and businesses through our fundraising and prize vouchers system.
Please notify Marjorie Keech, our Carer, on (02) 6762 1944 of any player’s illness or any incidents.
