Tamworth Golf Club prides itself on being a family club and is a great place for juniors to learn to play the game,
We are committed to turning hopeful young golfers into the players they can possibly be, offering a safe and supportive environment in which to develop and a place where they feel welcome and can make new friends.
The club offers regular after school clinics during school term as well as school holiday programs, all under the supervision of a Golf Professional.
Each chid is taught the basics so they have the foundations in place to be able to go on and enjoy a lifetime of good golfing.

As the child’s confidence and ability grows, the progress to the stage where they can go out and enjoy play on the course, either under the supervision of a parent as a 4 Hole Player or, for the older and more experienced, unsupervised as a 9 Hole Player.
Support is given to players of all abilities and every encouragement given for the highfliers to realise their golfing dreams.
Whatever their level, golf is a great sport for children to learn. It teaches valuable life skills such as respect, focus, concentration, coordination and, above all, goodwill towards others.
It won’t break the bank, either. Currently, the annual membership fee for a junior golfer at our club is just over $1 per week.
